What Is Network Marketing?

“The difference between Network Marketing and Consumer Marketing is the method of product distribution. Traditionally, a product moves through a series of middle-men on its journey from the manufacturer to the consumer.  The cost for each middle-man is added to the price of the product:  including freighters, wholesalers, warehouses, advertisers and retailers. 

In Network Marketing, the product moves direct from the manufacturer to the independent distributor; who is and who sells to the consumer.    These independent people replace the middlemen.  The money traditionally budgeted and spent on these third party services is paid instead to the independent distributors in the form of bonuses or commissions for marketing the products, word-of-mouth, through their network of consumers, and for building a team of individuals that do the same.

 Why pay these middlemen to distribute your products in highly competitive markets when you can pay the consumer for marketing them for you?

More often than not, products distributed through Network Marketing are superior in performance and formulation and Network Marketing tends to flourish when the economy is challenged.

Network Marketing allows people to work from home and be their own boss.  If you are driven, if you want success bad enough, you can achieve it with Network Marketing.  If you believe in yourself, in the products and opportunity you represent, then your life can be whatever you want it to be with Network Marketing!

~ Watch out for high turnover in Management.

~ Company has long term plan for product introductions.

~ Corporate plans for growth.

~ Run from companies that have a build quick and sell faster mentality.

~ …Company needs to focus value on the people that set the tone for their success (or failure) – their distributors and employees.

~ For a company to be people focused, they need to provide two things: recognition and a two way flow for information and feedback.

~ An admirable feature to look for in a company is charitable initiatives.

~ Choose a company that offers products that you’ve used, loved and are passionate about.

~ The company you choose should also be focused on product safety and innovation.

~ Look for a company that offers realistic compensation that rewards distributors for their efforts, not just the few that make it to the top.

~ Look for a compensation plan that offers bonuses that are easy to attain shortly after registering.

~ You want to run from anyone who suggests you buy your way into a plan. Never, never, never buy product to promote yourself to the next level in a compensation plan.

~ Look for a company that offers a simple system for success that anyone can follow and reach.

~ Run from a company that requires a substantial investment in product before joining.”
