I actually procrastinated trying the samples, thinking “My skin still looks young; how am I going to tell if these products are working?” Well, ladies, I’m here to tell you this: Even if you think your skin looks like a baby’s bum, you’ll swiftly change your mind when you try Apriori’s five step system. “Five steps!” you say? Yep! And each and every one is worth your time!
All the products are light and not greasy feeling, they have a very faint, pleasant aroma, and they are very easy to use and rinse off. The sample strip I received contained Creme Cleanse, Activating Tonic, Firming Complex, Eye+Lip Age Eraser, Day Defense, and (night time only) Night Repair.
Celloxylin, Lifeoxylin, Derma Firm IlluminatorThe Creme Cleanse left my skin feeling soft and natural (not at all dry or tight)and the Activating Tonic was nicely cool and tingly. After the prep work, the magic happens with the Firming Complex which made my face look very smooth, and the Eye+Lip Age Eraser, which is a perfect eye cream (and I do mean perfect; I’ve tried tons!) that you also apply to your lips. Their Day Defense is an ultralight sunscreen/moisturizer that soaked in to my skin super quickly, so I could apply make up right away. The Night Repair left my skin looking refreshed and rejuvenated when I woke.”

Remember Apriori Beauty and the Turn Back Time Capsule? Here’s more buzz about Apriori and their new, fantastic Microscrub.
Candy generously sent me a HUGE tub of it to try out so I could tell you all about it. When I cracked it open, I was delighted to smell that signature scent that all the Apriori products possess. Candy told me that unlike most scrubs, this one has dissolving crystals so there’s no more to rinse out of your washcloth and out of the bottom of your sink. Wa-hoo!
So, ladies, here’s the scoop: Like everything else I’ve tried from Apriori, I’ve fallen in love once again. Through some magical feat of science, they’ve managed to make a user-friendly scrub that left my skin glowing and oh-so-smooth. By “user-friendly” I mean this: you wet your face (or body), scoop out some scrub, and rub your skin gently until all the crystals have dissolved.
That’s it. It’s perfect. This way you’re not accidentally exfoliating down to the next layer of skin, leaving your face raw and red, you’re just sloughing off the top layer of dead cells, and the effect is astonishing. As I said in my other Apriori review, I’ve only turned 27 three or four times, but after a month of this microscrub, I’ll have to adjust my “age” to 23 or so!

I recently received a packet of Apriori Beauty products to sample, all bundled up in a beautiful “Turn Back Time Capsule,” compliments of Candace Dye. I have sampled many cosmetics over the years, so I assumed this would be your everyday face wash/beauty treatment. I was happily surprised to find out otherwise!
What is Apriori Beauty? Here’s some background: Candace Keefe is the CEO of Apriori Beauty. She is well known in the industry as one who creates “unparalleled” anti-aging products. Apriori Beauty’s purpose is to provide Anti-Aging products “at the cellular level.” They focus on four of the core influences that cause aging: 1)oxidative stress (environment and diet), 2)hormones,3) mitochondrial cell function and 4)genetics. Let’s see what happens!
I was given a sample of the Celloxylin Skin Care regimen, the Lifeoxylin Elixir drink, and the Sugar Beet Crystal + Papaya Enzyme Activated Microscrub!
First, let’s discuss the Skin Care regimen.
Step 1: Crème Cleanse (use day & night) This deep pore cleanser had a light citrus scent to it. It was very refreshing… and a little bit went a long way! The directions say to use about a nickel size amount, but I used about a pea size and it covered my entire face and neck when lathered up a bit with water.
Step 2: Activating Tonic (use day & night) I applied the tonic with a cotton ball. The unusual thing about this tonic is that most tonics are formulated to close the pores. This solution actually opens up the pores further to help absorb the “firming complex” (the next step).
Step 3: Firming Complex (use day & night) The firming complex is supposed to be applied while the activating tonic is still wet on your face. I placed a dime size amount (again, a little goes a long way) on my fingers and spread it all over my face. This product is the biggest selling feature for me! The firming complex visibly firms your skin! I have had a very large pore that I’ve been trying to minimize for years and years. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this large pore was reduced to nearly half its size in 3 days time using these products!
Step 4: Eye + Lip Age Eraser (use day & night) This product is to be applied around your lips and eyes to prevent and reduce lines and wrinkles. Fortunately, I have not developed any wrinkles in these areas yet, so I cannot testify on that. But, I don’t want to get them in the future! So I would definitely use this product for the preventative care!
Step 5: Day Defense Plus or Night Repair 3 Deep (one or the other) These 2 products were thicker than the others, but left my skin feeling quite soft. The Day Defense has sun block (spf 25) and the Night Repair moisturizes and repairs while you sleep.
Summary: I was very impressed with the results after just a few days. As I stated above, my large pore was dramatically minimized and I also felt like I could go out of the house without makeup on (which I hardly ever do!). My skin felt wonderful and looked great!
I also sampled the Enzyme Activating Micro Scrub. I used this product in the shower and loved it. I used it on my face and body. This exfoliating scrub contains sugar beet crystals and was fun and invigorating to use, leaving my face and body feeling cool and smooth. Took me a minute to get it open, though! You don’t have to twist the lid, you just pull it open.
The last product I sampled was the Lifeoxylin Elixir. I received a 1 ounce sample of this super-antioxidant drink that tasted like concentrated Grape juice. It contained no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners so I was surprised that it tasted as good as it did! This is said to deliver the value of 6 fruits and vegetables and an Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity of 2400 (6 times higher than any other antioxidant beverage currently on the market). The serving size is 2 tablespoons and has 20 calories.
The bottom line: if you are looking to prevent or reduce the signs of aging, these products work from the inside out!
