How Does Far Infrared Light Help Acne Scars and Rejuvenate Skin?
There is a new option for facial skin rejuvenation – Far Infrared light! In a previous post, I talked about the Derma Firm Illuminator’s 4 in 1 funtions of Galvanic, Far Infrared light, Ultrasound, and Vibration, in a home beauty gadget new to the market. Let’s take a closer look at one of these functions, Far Infrared Light, and give a little more explanation of what it is, and what skin issues it is particularly helpful with.
What is Far Infrared Light Therapy?
The light spectrum is made up of electromagnetic energies that we know as light waves or frequencies. It consists of seven wavelengths of light arrayed from long to short, with far infrared a longer wavelength that we cannot see. Far infrared is absorbed into the deeper tissues, increasing cellular metabolism and blood circulation. Recently, studies of light therapies have shown that they are effective for treating benign age spots, facial skin rejuvenation and healing of scars.
How does it work?
The light therapy works by energizing the mitochondria in the cell, stimulating greater energy production leading to more protein, enzyme and tissue building components produced that will aid with tissue repair. Far Infrared light therapy has the following benefits:
~ Skin is wamed, unclogging pores and expanding capillaries
~Blood flow increases, helping eliminate toxins associated with aging and fatigue
~Mitochondrial stimulation results in increased enzyme activity and metabolism
~Promotes the breakdown of cellulite, fat, trapped water, and wastes
~Increases oxygen and nutrient delivery to cells resulting in increased skin vitality
The Derma Firm Illuminator, from Apriori Beauty, has a Far Infrared Cycle incorporated with the Galvanic, Ultrasonic and Vibration cycles. When used together with the Precision Skin Rejuvenating Lotion, filled with healing nutrients, you have an excellent skin healing therapy.
Tissue regeneration begins deep in the skin to provide healthy, revitalized new skin on the surface. Your skin will look so vibrant and healthy!

Like infrared radiation, radiofrequency waves heat the skin deep. Depending on the radio frequency used, the waves may act to 4 mm, 6 mm or 30 mm in depth to reach the fat and tackle cellulite. The heat wave caused by the soft dimpling of the skin that make up cellulite and stimulates collagen production for several months. It gives a firming and restructuring of the skin.
Merci, beaucoup!
